We arrived in Madrid and Amy, Myriam and I(lee) decided to go out with some people we met from the hostel. We started off at a bar near our hostel and bumped into half the St Ives population which is always comforting.
We then headed different ways and hopped from club to club. We went to places with hip hop music, salsa, dance and pop and ended the night at the pizza restaurant.
The next day we woke up for free breakfast then a free walking tour, which we ditched half way. But we took some photos in front of pretty buildings on the way
We also went a tapas market which was awesome and went past the “oldest restaurant in the world”
Possibly the most exciting thing of the day was this crazy statue man. IT LOOKED LIKE HE WAS FLOATING.

We spent about 20 minutes staring at him and waiting for him to move.

We had lunch at Maoz which had some tasty felafel and you could pick all the fillings so we pretty much stuffed them till they were the same size as our head.
We met up with Tony which was really exciting and we went to Museo Reina Sofia. It was cool it had the original Guernica which Tony tried to get too close to and set the alarm off which was great. And it also had really interesting exhibitions. Which we of course we posed with
We then bought exciting hand ice-creams

And went on our oh so exciting first class train to Seville. AND DINNER WAS INCLUDED! They even gave us a bottle of wine.
We arrived in Seville to find our really awesome hostel which actually used to be an old Jewish mansion. It was so pretty and the view from the balcony was amazing.
We went wondering around the city and went to the cathedral which is the largest gothic cathedral in the world and it has Christopher Colombus' casket inside and the headed to Alcazar which was beautiful
And Nell and Orr went out for drinks

We met back up and ran to dinner before the flamenco show. Possibly the fastest i have ever eaten paella. The flamenco show was amazing and really intense we all went into this slightly cramped bar and sat right next to the platform and when the dancers spun you got sprayed by their sweat. It was a very authentic experience. Nell looked like she was in love when she was watching the Flamenco dancing.
The next day after just wondering around we had to leave for Granada. We arrived and the owner of the hostel picked us up from the bus stop and showed us to this really cute and quaint guest house. We then went to the supermarket to buy ingredients for our very exciting dinner of shukshuka
Granada was really cool and interesting, it was kind of a mix between Spain and Turkey. Pretty much the first day we spend looking around, buying pretty things and attempting to haggle with very stubborn shop owners.
When it was 12 o’clock we brought Nell her amazing felafel cake with breadsticks and sang happy birthday
The next day Nell got a belly dancing outfit for her birthday which was quite snazzy and we headed to the Alhambra (sadly she didn’t want to wear her new outfit there) which was really cool it was a Moorish palace and has beautiful gardens. We were in a very snap happy mood and took a couple hundred photos
We then went to some waterfalls in the mountains it was so pretty and there were fresh pommegranates, almonds, mulberries and figs growing on the long walk there.
We swam in the freezing cold water and chilled for the rest of the afternoon there.
