We said goodbye to Freya and headed for our hostel and picked up another Australian on the way, Renae. We found our hostel and were greeted with free vodka, beer and a pasta dinner. BEST HOSTEL EVER..
That night we went with the whole hostel to the beach bar Q Bar where we chilled and got to know everyone with an amazing view of the Black Sea
The next day began with free breakfast and took our spot for the day on the beach
You can really just times this by 2 and you have the second day summarised as well..
That afternoon we began preparing for Bulgarian Bar Triva by having quick quizzes. learnt alot like the name of the weird stiff thing at the end of your shoelace is called: aglets. Sadly none of this newly aquired knowledge came up.. But Nells team came 3rd and my team came 4th
After the second day on soaking up the sun we were off to Plovdiv. We got off the train overly tired and highly ammused.. The excitment soon ended as the lady that we needed to get a bus ticket from shouted at us and then completly ignored our existance. which is always a downer. The adventure continued as we went to store our bags for a day in possibly the least legitimate luggage storage ever and had a conversation with a lady in charge only using exagerated hand moments.
We headed off to the old city which was really cute and cobblestoney
and got a bridge shot after standing at the end of the bridge waiting for someone who didnt look dodgy to take a photo of us
We then went to the amphitheatre wich was cool and Roman.
and discovered the $2 store which we spent slightly too long in and bought too much stuff but we did get air pillows which was exciting.
We went to lunch
and slept on a park bench
We then went on our way to Istanbul
sorry for the crappy blog entry by the way...
